DIY recipe to use essential oil blends on dry skin

When treating dry and irritated skin, it is essential to know the right proportion and oils to blend in order to achieve excellent results. This is one essential oil blend for treating dry skin.


  • Tea Tree Essential Oil – 1 tsp.
  • Lavender Essential Oil – 1 tsp.
  • Frankincense Essential Oil – 2 tsp.
  • Grapeseed oil – 2 tbsp.
  • Virgin Coconut Oil – 2 tbsp.
  • Beeswax – 1 tbsp.
  • Vitamin E Oil – 2 tsp.
  • Glass Container – 1 (Small)


After the beeswax is completely melted, add Vitamin E Oil, Grapeseed Oil, and Virgin Coconut Oil. Stir the mix nicely and store it in a glass container. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then add all the essential oils to the ingredients list.

How to Apply?

The essential oil’s anti-inflammatory properties will soothe flaky and chapped skin after this blend has cooled completely. After this blend has cooled completely, massage it gently onto your dry and chapped skin.

Side effects and precautions

Some dangers are associated with essential oils, even though they are naturally derived from plants. Plants can cause allergic reactions, even if you are generally not allergic to them.

If essential oils are not combined with a carrier oil before application, they can cause rashes and irritation. So, cover this step before applying it to your skin. 

Applying diluted citrus oils to your skin can cause skin burns. Avoid sunlight if using citrus oils:
